Caring for Your Animals, Caring for Our Community

Druif Veterinary Services was established in Acton, Ontario, in 2011 after relocating from Brookville, Ontario, where it operated under the name Brookville Veterinary Clinic. This move marked the evolution of large animal care across the Halton, Peel, Wellington, and Flamborough areas, as the large animal services clinic grew into a trusted, community-oriented mobile veterinary practice.

Led by Dr. Jack Druif, our mission is simple: to provide the highest standard of care for your large animals, whether on your farm, in the field, or your facility.

Bringing Knowledge and Care Beyond the Clinic

Our team is more than just animal care professionals; we’re part of the community. You’ll often find us at local events, like the Leathertown Festival, where we provide pet owners with vital pet-care information and water for their dogs.

Our passion extends beyond our practice as we raise awareness and funds for causes close to our hearts, including the Farley Foundation, which helps low-income pet owners in Ontario by subsidizing the cost of non-elective veterinary care for their sick or injured pets.

Decades of Experience, Delivered with Compassion

At Druif Veterinary Services, we understand the unique needs of each animal and are committed to maintaining their health and well-being through preventive care, emergency services, and expert guidance.

With nearly four decades of experience, Dr. Jack brings not only expertise but compassion to every case, ensuring the best outcomes for your animals and your peace of mind.

The Heart Behind Druif Veterinary Services

Dr. Jack Druif’s journey in veterinary medicine is rooted in the rural Wellington area, where he grew up on his family farm. His love for animals and dedication to their care led him to the University of Guelph, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he honed his expertise in both small and large animal care in the Ottawa/Kanata region before returning to his hometown to continue his work. In 1989, Dr. Jack joined Brookville Veterinary Clinic. Five years later, he took a bold step by purchasing the clinic, solidifying his passion for the field. His move to Acton in 2011 marked the birth of Druif Veterinary Services, where he has since provided expert care to the local community and surrounding areas. Beyond his veterinary work, Dr. Jack is dedicated to making a broader impact. He volunteers as a puppy raiser for National Service Dogs and Autism Dogs Canada, underscoring his love for animals and his deep compassion and support for individuals on
